Taking on the challenge of NBA 2K23 was a deep dive into the meticulous world of game asset creation and animation. Each task required a keen eye for detail, combined with the technical prowess to adhere to the game's specific requirements.

Prop & Environmental Asset Creation:
My role entailed modeling and texturing a myriad of prop and environmental assets that adorned the distant landscapes of the game. These assets, though distant, played a pivotal role in building the holistic environment and adding depth to the game's visual narrative. The challenge was to keep the assets visually compelling while adhering to a strict poly count limit. This constraint required both creativity and precision, ensuring each asset was optimized for performance without compromising its aesthetic appeal.

Aquatic Life Rigging & Animation - "Sink or Swim" Event:
One of the standout experiences during this project was being at the helm of the Sink or Swim event's aquatic life. I was entrusted with the responsibility of both rigging and animating all the marine creatures that brought this event to life. Crafting the movement and behavior of these aquatic beings was a delightful blend of artistic expression and technical detailing. Every sway of a fin, every ripple in the water, was animated to exude realism and seamlessly integrate into the event's dynamics.

In retrospect, NBA 2K23 presented a series of exciting challenges that pushed the boundaries of my skillset. The meticulous attention to detail, from distant props to animated aquatic life, made this project a testament to the power of collective artistry and technical expertise. I take immense pride in my contributions and cherish the experiences and learnings it brought to my professional journey.
