Over a quick weekend, I dove deep into lighting while porting my UE4 assets from my master's studies into Unity's High Definition Rendering Pipeline. After setting up the scene, I took a shot at Unity's Adaptive Probe Volumes, but due to some bugs in Unity 2023.1.15f1, I had to go old school with light bakes and reflection probes. After that switch, I polished up the scene's materials and lighting. The whole experience was super satisfying! Jumping back into Unity and playing around with some custom shaders felt just like the good old days.
